ABOUT THE POSITION

This position holds responsibility for various tax accounting and compliance tasks of the company European group. In addition, the Senior Tax Accountant could assign ad hoc projects to the Tax Accountant.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Project management of the various tasks taking into account the very strict deadlines

· FAS 109 reporting. The tax accountant reviews the group's FAS 109 templates and signs of. The tax accountant is responsible for the consolidation of the different templates and communication/reporting of the numbers to the External Reporting group.

· Dutch CIT compliance. The tax accountant is responsible for

(i) monitoring all changes to the various units for which corporate income tax returns are filed,

(ii) for filing the respective Dutch corporate income tax returns and

(iii) all other relevant Dutch compliance tasks and works closely with the Tax Manager responsible for Dutch tax planning.

· Where overlap occurs between the responsibilities of the different tax managers, they all hold responsibility for tax optimisation of this relevant part of the Group where the overlap occurs.

· Contribute to tax awareness/appreciation within the Group

· Contribute to team building

· Contribute to technical training of Group Fiscal

· Service oriented towards the Group's other departments

· Keep Group Fiscal project list up-to-date with respect to own projects and responsibilities

· Communicate relevant developments to management timely

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

· Candidates will hold a Bachelor or Master Degree accounting /tax education, complemented by a minimum of 5 years experience in a mixed accounting/tax environment.

· Experience with US GAAP/FAS 109 preferred

· Candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention for detail, be problem solvers and be ambitious, highly motivated, energetic, hard worker.
