Financial Analyst / Controller

This Financial Analyst / Controller will join a dynamic and international team located in the Amsterdam surroundings. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your accounting knowledge to the next level.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-ordinating and analysing of the consolidated financial reports of Business Units for the group reporting under IFRS.

Analysing and advising on financial reporting issues.

Rolling out and developing guidelines, procedures and controls for financial, management and regulatory reporting.

Supporting and advising Business Units in all general aspects of financial, management and regulatory reporting and systems.

Sparring partner for Business Units controllers and management.

Monitoring new developments within the Finance area and being responsible for complying with new and existing requirements like SOX404, Basel II, Annual Accounts

Further optimizing financial processes and systems.

Participating in Head Office and company wide projects (SOX, Basel II, Managing for Value).

PERSONAL PROFILE

Academic background (Business Studies / Accountancy / Economics)

Knowledge of IFRS.

Strong analytical skills

Good communication skills

Demonstrable affinity with figures

Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point

Knowledge of automated financial systems

Behavioural skills: flexible, convincing, initiative
