Head of Strategic and Financial Planning

Based in our Head Office in Leeds, you will be part of a fast-paced, cross-functional team working closely with and influencing finance and non-finance business leaders. You'll support the expansion and diversification of our business streams, from developing product lines to devising new income opportunities.

As a qualified, experienced and commercially focused finance professional, you'll be a driving force behind our thriving retail business. In fact, we'll share a mutually beneficial relationship - you'll develop your career as you help our business to develop.

This position is a high profile and influential role at the centre of business decision making in a fast moving and exciting environment, you will be heading up the central financial planning area, working closely with senior leaders across the business as well as finance support teams.

Main responsibilities include:

·Business-wide co-ordination of the five-year financial planning process which sets the context for the successful delivery of our key corporate targets

·Strategic analysis to identify and evaluate business growth options and communication of these to the wider business

·Business performance review, which shapes our short and medium term commercial agenda and drives actions to increase our profitable growth

·Leadership of core planning and forecasting processes across the finance team

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong commercial track record gained within the Retail or FMCG sector.
